Visa Information & Letters of Invitation for Regional Attendees
Although most regional attendees will not require international travel documentation, individuals traveling from nearby U.S. cities or visa-required territories may need to provide supporting documents for entry into Canada.
CAGLEF issues Letters of Attendance (not full international Invitation Letters) for regional attendees who need an official confirmation of their participation to support travel purposes within North America.
Important notes for Letters of Attendance:
- Letters are issued only to confirmed registrants with a valid CAGLEF ticket or pass.
- Letters can only be issued for the registered attendee.
- The letter serves as a participation confirmation, not a visa guarantee.
- Once a Letter of Attendance is issued, ticket transfers or refunds may not be possible.
- To expedite preparation, applicants must submit the following:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Job Title
- Organisation / Institution
- Address
- Telephone
- E-mail address
- Date of Birth
- Passport Number
- Passport Issue Date
- Country of Issue
- Travel Dates / Period of Stay
These letters help regional attendees confirm their purpose of travel for employers, schools, group leaders, or cross-border requirements where applicable.
